Le jour de la R\u00e9publique comm\u00e9more\u00a0l&rsquo;adoption de la Constitution. Au moment de son entr\u00e9e en vigueur, la Constitution de l&rsquo;Inde a remc\u00e9 le Government of India Act de 1935\u00a0comme loi fondamentale.\u00a0La Constitution a \u00e9t\u00e9 adopt\u00e9e par l&rsquo;Assembl\u00e9e constituante indienne le 26 Novembre 1949\u00a0et est entr\u00e9e en vigueur le 26 Janvier 1950. La date du 26 janvier a \u00e9t\u00e9 choisie en souvenir de la \u00ab\u00a0D\u00e9claration d&rsquo;ind\u00e9pendance\u00a0\u00bb adopt\u00e9e par le Congr\u00e8s national indien\u00a0en\u00a01930. La Constitution d\u00e9clare que l&rsquo;Inde est une \u00ab\u00a0r\u00e9publique souveraine, socialiste; laique, d\u00e9mocratique\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>C&rsquo;est un jour c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 avec une grande fiert\u00e9 et beaucoup d&rsquo;enthousiasm dans tout le pays. Un grand d\u00e9fil\u00e9 se d\u00e9roule tous les ans \u00e0 Rajpath, en face de la porte de l&rsquo;Inde, \u00e0 New Delhi, la capitale. T\u00f4t le matin, la foule venue de partout en Inde se rassemble autour de \u00ab\u00a0l&rsquo;India Gate\u00a0\u00bb pour admirer la parade et y retrouver des performances aussi bien culturelles que traditonelles donn\u00e9es par des professionels appartenant \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents \u00e9tats en Inde. Ceux qui ne peuvent pas se d\u00e9placer regardent le d\u00e9fil\u00e9 depuis leur t\u00e9l\u00e9vision. Le Premier Ministre Indien participe \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9vnement en compagnie d&rsquo;autres ministres et des forces arm\u00e9es. Ce jour symbolise l&rsquo;unit\u00e9 de la nation et rassemble citoyens d&rsquo;oringines, de castes et de religions diff\u00e9rentes afin de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer la fieert\u00e9 d\u00eatre Indien! Le monument Rashtrapati Bhawan ainsi que d&rsquo;importants immeubles du gouvernement sont d\u00e9cor\u00e9s et illumin\u00e9s pour l&rsquo;occasion. Les h\u00e9ros de la nation sont gratifi\u00e9s par des m\u00e9dailles et r\u00e9compenses. Une r\u00e9compense nationale est donn\u00e9e aux enfants par le President\u00a0pour leur bravour. Des avions de l&rsquo;Indian Air force cloturent la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration par des traits de fum\u00e9s de couleur et des p\u00e9tales de rose sont lanc\u00e9s sur la foule. Dans les \u00e9coles et universit\u00e9s, diff\u00e9rentes comp\u00e9titions sont organis\u00e9es et des prix sont donn\u00e9s aux vainceurs.
