En Inde l’\u00e9cole est obligatoire depuis 2010. Pourtant plusieurs dizaines de millions d’enfants restent toujours sans acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l’\u00e9ducation. La situation est pire dans les milieux les plus pauvres. Et les raisons sont nombreuses : soit le travail des enfants procure une aide suppl\u00e9mentaire (financi\u00e8re ou non) aux parents, soit l’\u00e9cole est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme une perte de temps, ou encore la scolarit\u00e9 revient trop ch\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

M\u00eame s’il y a beaucoup d’associations humanitaires en Inde, internationales, plus connues et qui agissent partout dans le pays, Dehradun, la capitale de l’Uttarkhand (dans le Nord) reste un peu d\u00e9pourvue de toute aide.<\/p>\n

C’est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment pour cela qu’en 2013 Michel et Genevi\u00e8ve Rignault ont cr\u00e9\u00e9 une association humanitaire \u00e0 but non lucratif. Depuis, \u00ab\u00a0Inde et Vous, les Enfants de Dehradun<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de s’impliquer dans des actions diverses afin de permettre \u00e0 ces enfants du bidonville de Dehradun d’avoir un avenir moins mis\u00e9rable.<\/p>\n

Cette organisation fran\u00e7aise, bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Saint Nazaire (Pays de la Loire), pr\u00e9pare les enfants pour leur prochaine admission \u00e0 l’\u00e9cole, les prend en charge durant toute leur scolarit\u00e9, leur procure de la nourriture, les soins m\u00e9dicaux indispensables et les v\u00eatements pour chaque saison.<\/p>\n

En \u00e9troite collaboration avec l’association indienne \u00ab\u00a0Project Why<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb (voici leur site web<\/a>), \u00ab\u00a0Les Enfants de Dehradun\u00a0\u00bb pratique une politique de transaprence financi\u00e8re et de rigueur de gestion.<\/p>\n
