Ces indiens c\u00e9l\u00e8brent Kanwar yatra.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.bedandchai.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/images.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  aligncenter wp-image-3571\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.bedandchai.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/images.jpg\" alt=\"kanwar yatra\" width=\"328\" height=\"247\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Chaque ann\u00e9e les adeptes du culte de Shiva se rassemblent aux sources du Gange, \u00e0 Haridwar, Gaumukh, et Gangotri dans l&rsquo;Uttarkhand et \u00e0 Sultanganj dans le Bihar. Ils participent \u00e0 une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie en l&rsquo;honneur du dieu Shiva, la Kanwar mela. \u00c0 cette occasion ils recueillent l&rsquo;eau du Gange pour la rapporter dans les temples d\u00e9di\u00e9s \u00e0 Shiva dans leurs villes d&rsquo;origine. Les p\u00e8lerins parcourent environ 100 Kms \u00e0 pied pour rejoindre les villes de p\u00e8lerinage. La c\u00e9l\u00e9bration a lieu au cours du mois de Shravan (juillet-ao\u00fbt).<\/p>\n<p>Parmi les indiens qui se pressent sur les routes de la mela, les Shiva\u00eftes sont les plus fervents adorateurs de Shiva. Cette secte est compos\u00e9e d&rsquo;Hommes vivant des offrandes des d\u00e9vots. Ses membres sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme des hommes saints. Ils se distinguent par les trois traits trac\u00e9s sur leurs fronts et surtout par leurs tuniques couleur safran. Aujourd&rsquo;hui l&rsquo;ensemble des participants \u00e0 Kanwar yatra arborent cette couleur.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  aligncenter wp-image-3570\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.bedandchai.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/images-1.jpg\" alt=\"clean hotel india\" width=\"349\" height=\"232\" \/>Ce rassemblement ne comptait que quelques centaines de fid\u00e8les jusque dans les ann\u00e9es 1990. \u00a0Depuis une quinzaine d&rsquo;ann\u00e9e ils sont plusieurs milliers \u00e0 se rendre des \u00e9tats du Nord jusqu&rsquo;aux lieux de p\u00e8lerinage.\u00a0 Vous remarquerez s\u00fbrement que les participants sont tr\u00e8s jeunes. En plus de la mobilisation des routes par les foules, la consommation de cannabis inqui\u00e8te de plus en plus les autorit\u00e9s. Le chanvre pousse abondamment dans les r\u00e9gions emprunt\u00e9es par les p\u00e8lerins qui se rendent aux lieux sacr\u00e9s du Gange. D&rsquo;apr\u00e8s un article du <em>Times of India<\/em>\u00a0 dat\u00e9 du 6 ao\u00fbt 2015 la tendance prend de l&rsquo;ampleur parmi les jeunes qui participent \u00e0 cet \u00e9v\u00e8nement. Le cannabis leur permettrait de supporter plus ais\u00e9ment les longues heures de marche. De plus les camions qui font office de chars diffusent des musiques contemporaines appr\u00e9ci\u00e9es par la jeunesse indienne.
