Shyam, l’homme qui nous aide \u00e0 recycler nos d\u00e9chets<\/span><\/h2>\n

Nous souhaitons vous pr\u00e9senter un homme inconnu de beaucoup de personnes mais qui joue un r\u00f4le tr\u00e8s important dans le bien-\u00eatre quotidien des indiens: le \u00ab\u00a0Garbage Vala\u00a0\u00bb. Dans le nord de l’Inde nous avons un \u00ab\u00a0Vala\u00a0\u00bb ( un surnom indien repr\u00e9sentant une personne impliqu\u00e9e dans plusieurs types d’activit\u00e9s) pour tout : un \u00ab\u00a0water vala\u00a0\u00bb l’homme qui livre l’eau; un \u00ab\u00a0dhobi vala\u00a0\u00bb l’homme qui s’occupe de la lessive ou encore un \u00ab\u00a0cha\u00ef vala\u00a0\u00bb celui qui apporte le th\u00e9. Ce n’est peut-\u00eatre pas le meilleur des m\u00e9tiers, mais vous verrez que ces hommes sont vraiment d’une grande aide pour la protection de notre environnement.<\/p>\n

Le Garbage Vala de Bed and Chai Guesthouse est Shyam, 45 ans<\/p>\n

Shyam collecte nos d\u00e9chets tous les jours et en r\u00e9cup\u00e8re les choses de valeurs. Les d\u00e9chets, il les jette dans des zones pr\u00e9vues \u00e0 cet effet.<\/p>\n

Le plastique et le verre sont vendus \u00e0 de plus gros revendeurs; notre Garbage Vala utilise certaines des derni\u00e8res avanc\u00e9es technologiques en travaillant avec pompom<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Le gouvernement de Delhi ne mettant pas en oeuvre beaucoup d’actions pour lutter contre la pollution et acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le processus de recyclage; un syst\u00e8me parall\u00e8le emplois des milliers de salari\u00e9s. Pompom en fait partie;\u00a0cette soci\u00e9t\u00e9 collecte les d\u00e9chets gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une application. En un clic, vous pouvez trouver quelqu’un \u00e0 votre porte pour acheter certains de vos d\u00e9chets qui ont encore de la \u00a0valeur.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tous les jours, Shyam se r\u00e9veille et commence \u00e0 travailler \u00e0 6 heures pour terminer \u00e0 16 heures; il va dans tous les h\u00f4tels et les maisons de notre rue (notre rue est grande!). Pour se d\u00e9placer, il utilise un v\u00e9lo.<\/p>\n

Shyam a 3 enfants: 2 fils et 1 fille. Il vit \u00e9galement avec sa femme. Il doit ainsi prendre soin d’une famille de 5 personnes. Pour cela, il gagne un salaire compris entre 13.000 et 15.000 roupies par mois, ce qui est semblable au salaire d’un barman! <\/span><\/p>\n

Sachant que le salaire le plus bas \u00e0 Delhi est d’environ 6000 roupies par mois, notre garbage vala a un assez bon salaire. (Il est important de souligner que nous parlons d’un garbage wala dans une r\u00e9gion riche de Delhi donc il peut esp\u00e9rer un meilleur salaire que dans une autre partie de la ville). <\/span><\/p>\n

Son travail n’est pas facile; le garbage vala doit toucher et g\u00e9rer un grand nombre de produits sales, il peut rencontrer des probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 et n’a pas de protections, il travaille dans de mauvaises conditions. Il n’a pas de vacances, ni aucun jours de repos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shyam aimerait que ses enfants aient une meilleure situation que lui; son travail est trop difficile et il veut un avenir meilleur pour eux.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cet exemple de Garbage Wala r\u00e9v\u00e8le une facette de l’Inde . M\u00eame si le gouvernement de Delhi ne fait pas beaucoup d’effort concernant le recyclage ; une compagnie cr\u00e9ative comme pompom et des Garbage Vala prennent soin de l’environnement et essayent d’apporter un changement positif.<\/p>\n

Le Garbage vala : plus qu’une petite profession , il est d’une grande aide pour d\u00e9velopper la durabilit\u00e9 et encourager les gens \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger notre plan\u00e8te .<\/p>\n
