FrançaisTo get to Jaïpur from Delhi, I advise you to take the train with the Shatabdie (breakfast included in the Train) at 6am on the NDLS (New Delhi Railway Station), to arrive in Jaipur at 10:30 am.
Where to stay in Jaïpur? I recommend to stay in the Sunder Palace Guest House, the rooms are large and clean, this place is very peaceful and there is a nice rooftop restaurant, the food is really good. What to visit in Jaipur ? Go to the City Palace, which is really beautiful, then visit the Astronomical observation, which is just in front of the City Palace. Then you can have a lunch in the area, and head to a bazaar if you like shopping : for exemple go to Bapu Bazaar, or Johri Bazaar. Bargain a lot, you can buy scarfs, fabrics, indian clothes, jewelries, all these shops are in the pink building of the city, with all the color, the streets are amazing
On the day after, visit the Amber fort ! You can take a rickshaw to get there. Then if you are interested by fabrics or Indian handcrafts you can visit the fabric manufactures, and learn how to make hand block printed cotton. Then you can relax in Jaipur having some chaï or continue shopping in the incredible bazaars. After, go to visit the monkey temple in the sunset, the view is astonishing ! You can go back to Delhi with a night train after these amazing two days.
