Is it possible to go to Pakistan from India ?

You can get to Lahore from Delhi by bus in 8 hours (through the Wagah Border, which is the only border crossing point between India and Pakistan opened for international travelers.), you can also do Attari-Lahore by train. If you want to go to Pakistan by plane, you have to take The Pakistan International Airlines from Delhi or Mumbai to Lahore or Karachi.

But the question is: how to get a visa for a foreigner from India? It is very complicated, but you can still try.

Go to the Pakistan High Comission in Delhi to apply for your visa. Then, go to your country’s embassy, and ask for a letter of introduction. It costs approximatly 1500 rupees. Then, give it to the Pakistan High Commission. Do it in the morning, it closes at noon.  Here, get your papers, you must fill it in the grid by a typist. Then: go to the bank specified by the Pakistan High Commission, you will have to pay 6000 rupees. Don’t forget to bring the receipt to the Pakistan High Commission. Add your passport and two passport photos. Once you give all these documents, the Pakistan High Commission will give you an appointment for an interview in the next few days. For this interview, make sure you know the adress were you are going in Pakistan, and clearly tell them that you want a 3 month tourist multiple entry visa. After the interview is everything is fine you should get your visa in three working days. Good luck !
